Buggy and Tractor Show:
Expected to be on display are many buggies, including a few Tyson and Jones buggies, a doctor's buggy and several built by Amish communities. There will also be vintage tractors, all makes and models, on display during the festival.
Classic Car and Truck Show:
Sponsored by the Sandhills Classic Street Rod Association. Approximately 100 cars and trucks will be on display. Registration for the event is $15.00 before May 1 and $20.00 after that date. All proceeds from the show are donated to local charities.
Children's Activity Area:
Children of all ages can play from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. FREE of charge. New rides this year include the Super Atomic Rush, Jungle Playland, the Big Top and the Foam Pit. Come prepared to get wet in the Foam Pit! The Scrap Exchange will return with their fantastic, wacky collection of fun stuff to let your imagination run wild. Take a turn and jump as high as you can on the bungee trampoline or experience a simulated fire and learn how to protect yourself in the Fire Safety Trailer. This year will also have free face painting artist, balloon artist, and a stilt walking juggler!
Moore County Library Book Sale:
Friends of the Library Big Buggy Fest Book Sale! Thursday, May 11 - Saturday, May 13 at the library located at 101 Saunders Street. Browse for book bargains while enjoying the day at the festival! For more information contact the library at 910-947-5335.
